Arrival to Duborvnik

After arriving to Dubrovnik Airport you can take a bus that leaves the airport after every landing of regular flights and takes you to the City. The journey takes about 25 minutes. These buses will be marked on the window shield with the sign Airport-Dubrovnik.

If you are staying at CAAS, get off at Pile and keep walking for approximately 300 meters, in the same direction as the bus was travelling, until you come to the Cafeteria Sesame. In front of Cafeteria Sesame you will see about 20 steps. Take these steps to reach the CAAS building. If you are staying somewhere else, you can take the bus from the airport to the Pile stop and from there you can change to a local bus. The bus tickets can be purchased at any newsstand on Pile.

Parking in Dubrovnik

Please be aware that parking in Dubrovnik can be exceptionally difficult during the summer. Unfortunately, street parking next to the conference venue and in the surrounding area of the city are available only to residents.

Public garage: When arriving to Dubrovnik by car, the best option is to head for the multi-storey car park. A bus shuttles passengers from the car park to the Old Town's Pile Gate, although with Pile and CAAS lying a mere ten minutes downhill on foot, you might not need it.

Street parking: Croatia was the first ever country to introduce payment by text message for street parking! Look for the sign to see which zone you are in. Send the registration number of your car as a text message (no spaces, no special characters) to the four digit number shown. Your payment is confirmed when you get a message back from them. Different zones have different max waiting times and prices.

Find the venue on Google Maps! CAAS is located in the very heart of Dubrovnik, less than five-minute walk from the Old City. Everything you need is within walking distance: shops, banks, restaurants, beach, bus station, taxi stand, etc.

Accommodation

Accommodation in CAAS Residence with reduced prices is available for the first 70 participants. For reservation, please fill in the accommodation form. (Prices and further suggestions for accommodations are indicated on the form.) CAAAS Residence can offer accommodation only for the duration of the conference. If you arrive earlier or wish to stay longer, we kindly ask you to book another accommodation for that period.

Internet Access

Wireless internet is available in the lecture rooms and the apartments by using the password hanging on the wall in these rooms.
